Winger eyes exit ahead of new season
The Brazilian winger has made his intentions clear behind the scenes at the Etihad. According to Fabrizio Romano, Savinho has communicated to Manchester City that he wishes to depart this summer. The 21-year-old is seeking regular first-team football to continue his development — a commodity that may be in short supply given the competition for places under Enzo Maresca.
Tottenham are the club pushing hardest. Romano reports they are desperate to land the winger.
Spurs set deadline
Graeme Bailey of TeamTalk adds that Tottenham have issued an ultimatum to City. They want a final answer by the weekend. If no response arrives, Spurs will move on to other targets.
Bailey reports that Tottenham were confident of securing Savinho for a total package worth up to £60 million. City, however, have held internal discussions about whether they can demand more. The Blues are under no financial pressure to sell, and Savinho remains under a long-term contract after signing an extension last season.
City do not want to weaken the squad without a replacement lined up. That has not happened yet, and Tottenham are believed to be frustrated by the stalling.

For now, Savinho is on City’s pre-season tour of Asia with his teammates. He will not be allowed to leave unless it is on the club’s terms. Whether those terms align with Tottenham’s deadline remains the question.
