Manchester City's record-breaking 2017/18 campaign is set to be honoured by Puma through the 2027/28 home shirt, according to Footy Headlines.

The German sportswear giant reportedly plans to theme the kit on a season that saw City pile up 100 points, 106 goals and 32 wins.

That campaign remains the sole instance of a Premier League side crossing the 100-point threshold, and it was sealed on the final day when Gabriel Jesus struck a last-gasp winner against Southampton.

Pep Guardiola's second season at the Etihad Stadium also ended with City finishing 19 points clear of second-placed Manchester United.

Back then, the Blues were a Nike-affiliated club, turning out in a simple sky blue shirt with white detailing on the collar and the sides. Puma has since taken over production of the club's kits and merchandise.

Phil Foden, the poster academy graduate, broke into the first team and made his Premier League debut during that same 2017/18 season.

Supporters hoping to get their hands on the commemorative shirt will have to wait — it is not expected to go on sale until May or June 2027.

Enzo Maresca's current side sit top of the Premier League, though the kit tribute is still a little way off.
