Rodri stays — for now

Manchester City have rejected an opening offer from Real Madrid for Rodri. The Spanish giants tabled an initial €50m (£42m) proposal for the midfielder, which the Blues have turned down.

Meanwhile, a deal for Ayyoub Bouaddi is close to being completed. The midfielder is expected to join City as the club continues to strengthen ahead of the new campaign.
