New approach from Vinicius Jr's camp
Manchester City have been contacted again by Vinicius Junior’s representatives, with the Brazilian winger’s camp now suggesting a summer departure from Real Madrid is a realistic possibility. The Blues are among the Premier League sides that have received fresh soundings, according to TEAMtalk’s Graeme Bailey.
City have reaffirmed their interest, as have Arsenal and Liverpool.
Contract stand-off drags on
The renewed contact comes after more than a year of stalled contract negotiations between Vinicius Jr and Real Madrid. No agreement has been reached, and the impasse has opened the door for potential suitors to make their move.
Whether City will push ahead with a formal bid remains unclear. But the door has been reopened.
“City have reaffirmed their interest alongside Arsenal and Liverpool,” Bailey said.
