Paris Saint-Germain willing to part with teenage winger this summer
Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to sell Ibrahim Mbaye before the new season, with the French champions demanding more than €50 million for the 18-year-old. The right winger has attracted enquiries from across the Premier League after a breakthrough campaign at the Parc des Princes.
Mbaye made 31 appearances in all competitions for PSG in the 2025-26 season, registering three goals and two assists. He also made headlines at the World Cup, becoming the youngest African goalscorer in the tournament's history after coming off the bench to score against France in the opening match.
The teenager is under contract at PSG until the summer of 2028. Earlier valuations had placed him at between €40 million and €50 million, so the current asking price represents a slight bump.
Interest from England and Germany
Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City have all made enquiries about Mbaye's situation in recent weeks, alongside Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen. No club has yet submitted a formal offer at the level PSG are demanding.
City's interest is not new. The club is understood to have given Mbaye a tour of their facilities back in January, though his entourage denied the visit took place at the time.
Mbaye is believed to be keen on a move that guarantees him regular minutes. His pathway to consistent starts at PSG is blocked by intense competition under manager Luis Enrique.
