Erling Haaland's two goals helped Manchester City to a 3-2 win over Ipswich Town at the Etihad Stadium, with the striker's second proving decisive.
Phil Foden had given City a 19th-minute lead, only for Daizen Maeda to equalise for Ipswich two minutes later. Haaland restored the advantage with a thumping header in the 34th minute, meeting Mateo Kovacic's cross from the right. Ipswich keeper Christian Walton got a hand to the ball but couldn't keep it out.
Haaland's second, from Iliman Ndaiye's through ball, saw him leave a defender on the floor before beating Walton with a cool finish. That goal effectively sealed the 3-2 win for Enzo Maresca's side.
The brace takes Haaland to 12 goals in 10 matches in all competitions this season, and four in his past two games. His overall performances have lifted considerably, carrying his World Cup form into the 2026-27 campaign.
