Spurs Casting a Wide Net Over the Etihad
Roberto De Zerbi is reportedly keeping a close eye on a second Manchester City forward this summer. The Tottenham manager, already pursuing Savinho, is said to be an admirer of Egypt international Omar Marmoush as well, according to Football London's Alasdair Gold.
The North London side are looking to bolster their attacking ranks. Savinho's situation has developed quickly in recent weeks, with the Brazilian winger pushing for a move to North London in search of regular first-team football. Reports place Tottenham's interest in Savinho at a fee in the region of £60-65 million.
Now, De Zerbi's attention appears to have turned to Marmoush. The Egyptian endured a difficult first full season at City after his move from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025, starting just eight of 21 league appearances despite the goalscoring pedigree that first attracted the club's interest.
Marmoush is likely to speak directly with Enzo Maresca before making any decision on his future.
Whether that conversation leads to a departure remains to be determined, but the interest from Tottenham is noted.
