Maresca Targets Experienced Gloveman
City have submitted a bid for Marseille goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli. The 34-year-old Argentinian international is the subject of an offer from the Blues, according to Foot Mercato.
The Ligue 1 side have “received an offer” from Enzo Maresca’s side for the 8-cap shot-stopper. An agreement between the two clubs for Rulli is not expected to be difficult.
City have stepped up their pursuit of the Marseille man.
Rulli, 34, would arrive with top-flight experience in France and Spain, plus a World Cup winner’s medal from 2022. Whether he slots straight into the first team or provides competition remains to be seen.
