Thomas Tuchel's England rounded off their Nations League campaign with a comfortable 3-0 win over Czechia at Wembley, and City had two players in the starting XI.
Elliot Anderson and Marc Guehi both played 63 minutes before being replaced together, with the game already won. Anderson, in particular, caught the eye with an excellent ball over the Czech defence to release Morgan Rogers, whose cross led to Harry Kane's first goal. Guehi started at centre-back alongside Jarell Quansah and helped keep the visitors at bay — Czechia failed to register a single shot on target all evening.
Kane took the headlines with a brace on his record-equalling 125th appearance, while Vladimir Coufal's own goal had put England ahead. Anderson lined up in midfield alongside Jude Bellingham and Myles Lewis-Skelly, and his passing range was on full display.
Rico Lewis, a late call-up after Nico O'Reilly's withdrawal, remained among the substitutes and was unused. The City academy graduate was promoted from the England Under-21 set-up, a move confirmed by City ahead of the game.
With Anderson and Guehi withdrawn in the 63rd minute, James Garner and Jarrad Branthwaite came on. England saw out the win comfortably, and City's contingent will return to club duty with minutes in the tank.
