Another promising teenager heading to the Etihad

Manchester City are set to add Arsenal midfielder Mishel Nduka to their academy ranks, according to reports.

The 16-year-old is expected to follow Jeremy Monga through the door at the Etihad, with the club already having a £10 million deal in place for the Leicester City winger. City hijacked Arsenal's pursuit of Monga to make an early statement in the window.

Nduka's move comes after a single season with the Gunners, having joined them from Charlton in September 2025. During his time in north London, he made 10 appearances in the U18 Premier League, two outings for the Premier League 2 side and one game in the UEFA Youth League.

He has also represented England at U16 level, making seven appearances and clocking up 444 minutes on the pitch.

According to the Daily Mail's Isaan Khan, Arsenal were keen to keep Nduka but his contract recently expired, allowing clubs across the country to make their move for the highly-rated midfielder.

The summer window has already seen City make a splash with the club-record £116 million arrival of Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest. Director of football Hugo Viana is eyeing further additions as the Blues prepare for life under new manager Enzo Maresca.
