Midfielder makes his feelings clear

Eduardo Camavinga has told his agent he wants to stay at Real Madrid this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano, effectively ending any realistic chance of a move to Manchester City.

Romano reports that the France international has a “very clear intention” to remain in the Spanish capital, despite Los Blancos being open to a sale.

City had been linked with the midfielder as part of their ongoing summer recruitment, but the player's stance appears to have closed that particular door before it ever really opened.
